It took 7 days to get there. 7. I mailed a settlement check to a lawyer in Fairlawn, 12 miles away. It took 9 days to get there. 9. This is an atrociously run company - this post office. Now, I just have my law clerk deliver local settlement checks.

I would not use Covid-19 to bail it out, which I understand is what the fight is about. Twisting that to 'Trump's trying to destroy the US Mail to steal the election' - is not something even the WAPO said in its article.

his claim borders on plagiarism. Taking a headline, then rewriting the missive to suit his emotional value.
Of course WAPO didn't make that claim.............so he made it up and stuck it in there.
I have the same problem with my mail...a week or more for almost everything. But we still get our mail, regardless.
IMO, they are fighting against the internet. Why send a letter when you can send a pm?

Well this is going to make the Democrats very upset.

They did plan on using the USPS as a weapon in the election helping to push Biden over the top

The officials that were terminated were part of the problem. and part of why the postal system is going bankrupt.

Most states have an absentee ballot system in place for those that do not want to be in a crowd on election day It works and is very secure and hard to tamper with.

Thus that is why the Democrats were pushing so hard for mail in. They thought they had the system totally in their control
