But we don't even know that Martin was a good runner. He could have been asthmatic. Can't rush to judgment or assume because Martin was younger that he had the advantage in a running competition. At the end of the day, either way, this was a really unfortunate tragedy that probably could have been prevented, and may or may not rise to the level of a criminal act. Zimmerman, whether convicted of manslaughter or not, will live with this for the rest of his life, and that in itself will profoundly affect him. So no matter what happens, he will continue to pay the price.

Trayvon had been a football player and he wasn't an ounce over weight. That sounds like a good runner, compared to Zimmerman. I know racist Liberals like to make up $#@!, like Trayvon might have had asma. If Trayvon had asma, we would have heard about it endlessly. "Zimmerman shot a sickly and unarmed boy..." Besides, Trayvon didn't even get 10 feet in five minutes, from the time Zimmerman got out of his truck to when Trayvon's call ended. Do you think Trayvon couldn't even move as fast as diarrhea in the rain? Those of us not blinded with racism conclude that Trayvon could indeed run much faster than Zimmerman, but instead of leaving, returned to attack Zimmerman.

Everyone should know if you're white(ish) and you beat a black criminal, black leaders are going to come after you to finish the mugging, so don't talk to police. Zimmerman is paying the price for being racially naive and not realizing that there would be a lynch mob that would use everything he says against him. But, Trayvon paid the price for being a thug.
