    someone compared Petraeus to Ike, one thing about Ike, he served from 52 to 60 the thing is Ike ended the Korean war and served 2 terms as president, as far as I know he is the only president this century to serve 2 full terms in peace time. regardless of the cold war era, at least we had 8 years of relative peace and not spending billions on military engagements. the campaign sloga " I like Ike is true

    I admire Ike. I just don't think he was a great commander. He was a great manager. he knew how to work with people and that skill came in very handy on the Western Front.

    I have no doubt that Petraeus is a good PR guy. I doubt you can really get to his level in peace time without having excellent people skills.
