    he was a muslim ass kiss....did anyone for even a moment believe that we could not to a great degree pacify iraq if we took the gloves off the military....petraeus is no patton, no grant/sherman, no washington....he did his job and it was a very doable job contrary to popular opinion...don't get me wrong he was smeared/publicly disrespected by the nyt, the press in general, mrs bill and obama....still, the next time petraeus decides to give his opinion re koran burning here in the states he should keep his mouth shut....

    Counter-insurgency is a whole different ball game. It's not war or at least it's not not war as we conceive it. We didn't prepare for this. War and nation building are two very different things. As for Qurans, the media should have done the sensible thing and simply buried the story. No fuss, no muss.
