I really like the way this forum does this, allowing members to ask for explanations regarding The Rulez,
but it still amazes me that grown-up folks even NEED The Rulez ...

Bad assumption, that everyone is grownup. :-P
Generally speaking any forum that doesn't allow members to ask these questions is forgetting that, as a part of social networking in which opinions and ideas are exchanged, members are not just the customers but the products.

It amazes me how personal some people take this $#@!, especially those who know how to dish it out.
Its a $#@!ing political forum. Grrow a $#@!ing pair already, or get outdoors a little more often if its too much.

Afraid that that attitude has become against the new rule posting in good faith.
I'm less interested what the rule is than in knowing what it is.
The way it is now is like this. Let's play a game. We'll use a deck of cards. Each round we bet a $1. You take a card and I take one. The winner gets the pot. OK, let's go. You pick a 10 and I a K. I win, thanks. Come on, another $1 in the pot. You pick a K and I a 10. I win. What you say, but K beats 10. No, yours is a heart and mine a club. Come one, another $1 in the pot. You pick a club and I pick a heart. I win. Wait, you say, club beats heart. No, mine was a 2, deuces high. next. But you're making up the rules as you go, you complain. So? Tell me the rules first. No. Another $1 in the pot please. You pick a 2 of clubs and I a 4. I win. What!?!?! It's Tuesday.

There are some xonstants with politicak firums. One is, there will always be "children" who will not always play nice but when someone doesnt play nice with them they go crying to mama.
Second is - you cant pkease everyone. No matter qhat rule, decision, action is made, someone will feel vindicated and someone else will feel injusticed.
Its too bad, but what the mod team realky needs to adopt is a "dont like it?Then GTFO" policy and stick with it.
