But, for people who need health care insurance(don't forget the insurance part, that is what Obamacare is managing....not health care...access to insurance...in fact a mandate to purchase insurance)...your lies will be exposed.....more cred points lost.
330,000...who got "deep enough" to merely access information.....on financial assistance. You continue to define yourself, Cigar.Yes 330,000. is success for people who counts Votes
Well take my case for example.
I currently pay 300 per mo. for my healthcare. Going onto the website I found that I do not qualify for any assistance and the lowest rate I could find, for the lowest coverage, was 687 per mo. That is double what I currently pay and frankly could not afford that.
If for some reason my plan drops me I will have no choice but to find a lower paying job, quit my current one, or pay the fine and find myself without healthcare. Now I am nothing special, just your average middle class worker, but I am getting f****d over to pay for others to have insurance and I would not vote for democrats because of this issue.
Since I can assume that my case is not unique, you will need to estimate how many voters in the nation find themselves in my situation and do the math. I'm glad that so many are finding healthcare but the poor and those that need it severely were probably already voting democrat in the first place.
So how many voters have the democrats actually picked up due to the ACA compared to how many they will lose?
That will be the question that decides the next few elections.
If that turns out to be true Ill be right along side you screaming dismantle it and I have no worries nothing healthcare will affect me.
I would be right next to you screaming to dismantle obama care and instead of making working americans pay to cover other americans that need coverage. Make corporate america pay for it, they can afford it.
That's fine if you make corporate America pay for it and we can argue that ideological difference all day.
They can afford it at the moment but I could not. Money in my bank account is the one thing that transcends party lines and whether it is the republicans or the democrats making it go away makes no difference. I would like to start a family but if my plan drops me, as is happening quite a bit from what others are reporting, then I would be in a very difficult situation. It may require me to get a part-time job on top of the 60 hours per week I currently work just to afford health insurance.
This is a real world situation that many people who do not qualify for subsidies are facing and one that will have an impact on upcoming elections. I'm glad that many are now able to afford health insurance but when I have to suffer, or have my life complicated from it, you cannot expect me to support it. The good of the country is secondary to the good of me and my family. That's reality, not ideology.
