I know this is an old thread but I too knew him from another forum. I'm saddened to hear of his passing.

He wasn't crazy about me but we had a respecting relationship.

I think he was a genuinely good man. Old school.

Do I remember him from the other forum, too? I've read of his passing here and at least one other forum, but I can't remember if he was a member where you and I were. nevertheless, he seems to have touched a lot of lives on these political fora. RIP, sir.
