Latest Poll Numbers for Michigan Show Lead Growing For Santorum

Santorum's lead is growing according to Real Clear Politics

If Romney loses Michigan do you think he's done? It was always considered a lock for him. His dad was governor and he grew up there. He needs to focus all his energy there and not worry too much about Az in my opinion.

I'd floored if he loses MI. If that does happen then, yes, I think it would be a huge psychological shock to him and his campaign. An oh $#@! moment idf there ever was one.

Looks like it is headed that way. Plus to lose the state his dad was a 3 time Govenor. It's starting to look like America is rejecting Romney once again.

We'll know soon enough I guess. It's not far off.

just one question though .. i Ronmey loses out and Santorum gets the nomination.. can he beat Obama with just the base he has, is he appealing to the moderates and the independants?

I don't think so, but I don't think Romney has much appeal either. To me the most appealing to independents is Ron Paul. There is barely any difference between Obama and Romney.

Definitely true. I think these days people are way more aware of how both parties are taking advantage of them. Really the best thing Obama has done is shown everyone how the Democrats don't care about the American people any more than Bush did. People are waking up to the idea of breaking away from Republican or Democrat and I think if Rand Paul wants the mantle it is there for the taking.
