He does get rid of the ball quick, but Seattle also gets to quarterbacks quick. Nine times out of ten, Manning doesn't snap the ball before the six second mark on the play clock. Six seconds is all Seattle needs to get inside his defenders and sack the unsackable. They are quick and know how to take out QB's. Even if Manning gets the ball off, Seattle's defense is good at taking out receivers, too. Just look at what Richard Sherman did to Crabtree in the last seconds of the Seattle-Niners championship game.

The Seahawks already faced Manning's offense in the preseason and won. So yeah, they have seen an offense like the Broncos, and they destroyed it. They can and will do it again. February 3rd you'll be eating crow.

Of course the preseason is meaningless as far as the outcome of the game is concerned. Preseason is for trying out the rookies to see which ones the team eventually keeps or cuts.
Surely you aren't as clueless as to think both teams were trying to win like they would do in the regular season.

Of course they are. That's the point of the preseason. It's not just about trying out rookies, part of trying them out is putting them through the rigors of a real game. How the hell are you going to tell if a rookie is worth his salt if you don't play with them like it's a real game?

What they're saying is that neither team had their A-Team on the field... So we know that the Seahawks third-string can beat Denver's third-string... The Seahawks still have not faced the full power of the Broncos offense. I predict that the Broncos win, but the Seahawks make it a tough game. The win will be by 3-9 points... It won't be a shutout, but a good game between the A-Team of the best offense versus the A-Team of the best defense...

I just think the Seattle defense will put too much pressure on Manning and his receivers for them to win. Manning has no mobility.

Not going to be a high scoring game, particularly if there is a snowstorm. Thanks to the wisdom of putting this game in a crappy location like NJ the game could be ruined by weather.
