Ugh, I just realized I made a "road" reference. Entirely unintentional!

IMO, JFK has an undeserved reputation as an iconic POTUS. What did he do in office? Anyway, Teddy was a real POS.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

The entire family gained political gain because their ancestors gained money and political power from running illegal whiskey. Criminal minds get handed down from generation to generation.

A little research into the Kennedy clan reveals a lot of unwholesome details.

Problem is, that most people take things at face value, never a clue or a desire to check it out. The Kennedy's were a bunch of worthless individuals. Probably still are.

Until people wake up and see what is happening to the country it will only go downhill. There in lies the problem, we are at the breaking point. The way I see it unless Paul is voted in the agony will only last longer. I'm only seeing cons in the gop candidates and I'm hoping it will go to convention and possibly somebody with a brain will emerge to get rid of that pos obama.

Agreed. People can be intellectually lazy.

I agree that we are at a breaking point but I wonder if that's not a good thing? I've stopped calling myself a conservative because I now question what there is left to conserve?

Dang, I thought I was the most cynical on the board. Don't give up D. Don't ever give up!

It's not like that. I'm just becoming more sympathetic to radicalism. Angrier too. More willing to make a break with the past.

I think you're not alone with that. I hope that over the next couple of decades that anger destroys the Democratic and Republican parties, but it may be beyond that now...

You are too young for that attitude.
