I think I will have little issue keeping my employee's At least that has been the case in the past!

    But nice try!!!
If you had operations down my way I would be at your disposal. Sounds like a great job to me. I would be all over an offer that was half that good.

Those who want to make more move. Labor is no different than any other commodity. If Fords are selling for $25,000.00 I won't be able to sell one for $40,000.00 nor would I offer one for sale for $15,000.00. Buying and selling labor is no different.

What is it that you do, and where are you located, I might have contacts in your area?

Dayton Ohio, maybe 400 miles south of you. I was in building maintenance for years. I couldn't hack the drama in the nursing home environment any longer and went on sabbatical. Poor timing! I got a lot of jobs done for friends and relatives and on our house but now the money is gone and I need to get back on the payroll.

I knew that I made the right choice.

Today my new employee's stopped by the office! On Monday he was to start looking for his Truck and get all of the storage and tools that he needs.

His Uncle just lost his job and has a Truck with a little over 10,000 miles on it and wondered if we could just take it off his hands. It is already undercoated, has tool the locking tool storage, and it will save the company about 12K

Boy will he be surprised when his first check has 5,500.00 dollars in it! You see we have a policy that if you come up with an idea that saves the company money, you get a bonus of half of the first years savings! He has not been through orientation yet, so he did it for the right reasons!

Imagine that the guy that would not sit home and collect the check is on his way to being employee of the month for Feb and he has not even started!
