Problem now is......that Paul is looking to be King-maker. Which in those Negotiations if they take place, will still leave the Party as is. As then Romney and the Neo-Cons, won't keep their promises.
History does not long Entrust the care of Freedom, to the Weak or Timid!!!!! Dwight D. Eisenhower ~

I still believe Romney will win and there won't be a brokered convention.

Actually I think that Paul knows he doesn't have a chance. What he is doing is bringing the American citizen to their senses and opening up their eyes to what it going on in this desolate country that has went progressive.

If Rand Paul had run he would have had a much better chance of getting the nod. Maybe next election, one can only hope that we get somebody who supports the constitution before it gets tossed out the window by the liberals.

Yep, Ron Paul is a smart guy and not given to emotional blinding. I do think he is sowing the seeds for a successful run by his son. Obama winning a second term almost ensures that four years from now a GOP president will take the reins. Rand Paul could be that man.

Agreed, I think Obama will most likely win a second term as much as it hurts me to say it, but your thinking is like mine. Problem is that if that idiot gets the second term then things will cascade out of control and no telling where we may end up. The other side of that coin is that if we get a con or rino in then it will just take longer to accomplish. Either way we are screwed and I suppose that the fast track is best in this case.

I hope the constitution is still intact five years from now........If obama gets to appoint anymore liberal judges then it may change to something we may not be able to correct in our lifetime.

That's an excellent point - the SCOTUS appointments can and will affect things for decades to come.

That's what really scares me about this election, I don't want to vote for a con but I don't want to see this retard get another four years to mess up the country more than he has already. I'm torn on this thing really, he can and will take us over the brink if he gets the chance. The SCOTUS is only one way he could do damage we couldn't repair in 20 years.

Isn't that what we have now, just with a Muslim attitude instead of a supposed holy roller attitude.

Define "public morals" (ie: murder, rape, assault - all bad regardless of what golden calf you worship) and keep everything else out of it.
