Liberal Hollywood demands tax incentives in California (or else!)

    http://variety.com/2014/film/news/ca...st-1201126627/

Ironically, Hollywood liberals are the most generous supporters of tax-and-spend Democrats, but when it comes to paying their own taxes, they'd rather not.

So California is seeing that increasingly, Hollywood studios are filming big-budget movies in states and countries which provide more tax incentives ($$$).

My question to Hollywood liberals, who preach that the rich should pay their fair share of taxes to support the poor, is why they have a different rule for themselves?

Don't they enjoy forking over their cash to government to keep our poor welfare-dependent single mothers provided for with food stamps, WIC, Section 8 housing, Medicaid?

I mean, think of the children!!!

This sentiment pretty much explains why the wealthy aren't jobs creators ... unless they get their size GGGG bra from the govt.

“The film and entertainment industries are absolutely essential to California’s middle class, and this underscores the importance of our work to level the playing field against the other states and countries who are luring our jobs away,” said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
“These jobs not only support California families, they generate revenues that pay for schools, infrastructure, and other state services.”

If the wealthy are not the job creators, just who do Democrats suppose creates jobs?

There is no person who has more wealth than the Federal Government, none of it earned by the Feds, every dollar taken by force from the rightful owners, so if they claim the Government creates jobs, they admit the rich do create jobs.

They're doing the same thing in New York with their tax free zones or whatever it is. You don't have to pay taxes for like ten years or something if you start a new business. Economics was never the Democrats strong point.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Not every dollar the Federal Government makes is from taxpayers. And the ultra wealthy are the best at dodging tax. Also, the US Government actually prints a huge amount of USD each year.

So. You are stealing from ME!!!!!!!! It makes me feel angry. Stop stealing from the rations of the global community Americans!!! Also, pay your bills deadbeats! Balance your budget!

Corporate welfare for the rich is a terrible idea and the benefits to the state are not real. Corporate welfare for the film industry is insulting to people that actually work. Citizens do not want to see jobs being created by way of corporate welfare to the rich.

USA should look at Australias productivity commission results on corporate welfare. It does not work. It works great for the Investor Class but not so great for the wider community. We are free market capitalists here in Australia and against corporate welfare and bailouts. What is your problem America? You commies.

US macroeconomic policy is a joke. Lucky you have the reserve and can print your way out of trouble. And that is for sure.

    US politics=We can print cash.

edit- your wealthy are scum. And deluded. The US Government can print cash. That is the big key to your politics.

Well, according to this official Australian government website, your government does not agree with your productivity commissioner, and is offering generous tax incentives to film in Australia:

It looks like corporate welfare to me, Germanicus. What say you?

Do you think it's ironic that Hollywood actors and producers demand higher taxes from other rich people, and at the same time, demand lower taxes for themselves?
