So, wait a minute, @midcan5. You're saying that the effect of Obamacare is the status quo? When the whole point of Obamacare was to change the status quo?

Now I see why you quote walls of text from other people's writings. I would too, if I thought the way you do.

Harry Reid told ya. Young people don't know how to use computers. That must be it.

According to U.S. government on health insurance stats there were 8.2 million between the ages of 19-25 that had no insurance. There were only 3 million that were added to their parents coverage as of today.

Small business are having trouble finding affordable coverage so they are doing away with it altogether.

The part time numbers may not have changed significantly but the age demographics sure has, there are almost double the number of part time employment for ages 45 -64 years of age since 2008. Everyone knows that it is this age bracket that needs health coverage the most that are under 65 through an employer and they are getting shafted by employers these days.

As for the 30 million that still won't have coverage, in my opinion, are those working part time and cannot afford health insurance even with subsidies. At the time that the government determined there was 47 million without coverage, they only included the number of 40 million employed workers with no insurance and 7 million kids with no coverage.

They never included the unemployed, the illegals, people in prison in these numbers. There is currently 91 million not in the labor force and this number is determined for the age group 16 and up which includes people that are 65 years and older. They do not include people incarcerated, people in mental institutions, illegals and ones that are disabled and cannot work.

There is 7 million people age 65 and older that are employed so these would be subtracted from the total population of 65 and older which is 41 million. This leaves 57 million people between the ages of 16 and 64 years of age that are not employed. I wonder how many of them do not have coverage and were not counted by the government.

Since it is the IRS that is enforcing it, they don't care about the people who don't file a return as they are exempt from having to buy coverage. However, isn't this the population that ends up using the emergency room for free care on the tax payer's dime?
I am not sure of your figures but the Obama gang told us all that up to 60 million had no insurance thus it makes sense. Good analysis on your part.

@Green Arrow, You are sorta on the right track, but let's face it why whine at the status quo when nothing has changed? Of course the idea here is something has changed and it is looking good. My comment was directed at the post quoted by the way. No other quotes this time.

Repost from a minute ago. I need to do another rant but having just returned from Florida and some of the most rabid Obama haters in the world, I wonder how it is these Obamacare haters and Union haters have the nerve to say anything when most drive Japanese or German vehicles that provide profit to nations that already have Obamacare and strong Unions? Seems if you were truly American you'd have to buy American products and then you'd have the right to whine all the time. Weird how the complainers are supporting healthcare and unions, just not in America?

I am sure you are right about it being 60 million with no insurance. My data is from 2011 statistics.
