Not at, shoot a sow, foremost. Process and store meat promptly, field dress asap. Par boil in a crock pot with a few ounces of vinegar about two hours, remove, wrap in foil, toss on grill with oak, slow cook.

    Finger licking good.

Now a boar is another story, you gotta live trap or use catch dogs, then castrate and pen feed grain for a month, otherwise only good for sausage. Much easier to target a sow. If your hungry though, shoot whatever you can.

On a side note, easy way to skin, put a compressed air hose in the bullet hole, the air will separate the hide from the meat. I have never done this but others swear by it.

It stands to reason, it should work. It would save some work.

I have never shot a boar(full disclosure) I believe a boar has nads and a sow a gina. If I get the chance, I will let you know.

People always say gar no good to eat, BS, I used a sling bow to spear a 20 pounder and that is some good eatin. I may very well have parroted some mis info. If I shoot a male, I will report back, I can't imagine it being inedible.

IMO, it tastes vaguely like pork but you know it isn't. Boar is lean and a little tough.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Far as I know a boar is a non castrated hog, feral or domestic, while a sow is a female of the same.

It's "Taco Tuesday" at my local watering hole...so...Bourbon, I'm having bourbon for dinner, and maybe a taco or two, but only if I have room.
