I don't think its an issue of who you are going to serve CO, I think the issue is banning guns and then getting robbed at gun point. They have every right to say we don't want guns in our establishment and many places in North Carolina have such notices. I don't think anyone is saying they don't have a right to ban those weapons. But, they should be prepared to pay the consequences.

I do remember a restaurant in Jacksonville FL (St John's Seafood, Blanding Blvd) that was robbed at gun point and not one but two patrons pulled out weapons and shot the robbers

Honestly, since these robbers came in through the back door, I don't think a room full of guns would have done much good but who knows? I guess a room full of homosexuals could have stopped this robbery by doing the thieves hair.

The issue is that it's their private business to run and their decision on how they want to run it.

The zombie wingnut hypocrisy here is that these frauds support business owners right to be bigots but they ridicule business owners right to restrict weapons on their premises.

    Total $#@!ing joke.

One is as stupid as the other on the part of a business owner. Their choice still trumps PC BS.

I think the "results" are what is being riduculed. PC restaurant advertises a gun free zone and lawless, disrespectful thugs take full advantage using the knowledge that they won't be challenged in their effort to pillage. What's that got to do with a baker not wanting to bake a Steve Steve cake?
Only in America.... could the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

You are right. It is their business and if they don't want people who carry guns to come into the building, that is cool. But as I said, the trick is convincing the criminals not to do so. So far, that hasn't worked.

Perhaps they should carry on as usual but next time add "We lied" after having dispensed with the gangster gunman/gunmen.

    You wingnuts are a joke.
Actually you have that backwards. they are forced to do business with gays, but you don't have to allow guns.

And the wingnuts might want someone to force people to accept firearms I do not! I think they had every right to post the sign.

As I have every right to think that it is funny that they were the victim of an armed robbery!

I am sure that the robbers did not see the sign!

I wonder how they would handle it if the customer was gay AND carrying a gun. That would be a real conundrum!
