I mock my heritage. I don't mock other people's. These are social customs and mores we've all accepted. When I crack down on my sister's charity (giving money to scumbags in Detroit who made bad life choices) or lecture my family on their financial planning she calls me a "Jewy-Jew" and that's fine because we're ethnically Jews. It's an inside joke.

I wouldn't tease a gay person about homosexuality or a black person about watermelon.
