Manson was a puppet master. He orchestrated many heinous crimes of homicide, but did not personally slay anyone. He deserved his sentence and should die in prison.

I read an interesting Hoax today. Charles Manson freed on parole due to prison overcrowding and federal orders to reduce prison population and review of prisoners. He's 79 and supposedly in poor health. What do you say? Should we let this murderer go free?

If we're so worried about prison overcrowding...uhh....wouldn't release non violents, specifically in the field of drug use/sale/possession make more sense?

Makes sense to everyone but big pharma, the prison industrial complex and the DEA . Now why do you suppos that is? Influence for sale, with the DEA being pretty much a big pharma police force?

He didn't kill anyone and got convicted of murder because of public opinion that he needed to be charged with murder. I don't buy this crap about letting people off the hook for stabbing pregnant people to death because they were under control or whatever. I don't care how in love I am, I'm not killing a pregnant lady for anyone. Besides, he didn't even say to anyone "Hey go kill those people". According to all their testimony he told them to do something that would get publicity. That might be implying but its not saying "Go and kill them".

Maybe he deserved conspiracy, but after reading that book I'm not sure. It was gruesome killings of celebrities so the public wanted him punished. So be it. At this point he's too old to let out anyway.

Manson should never get parole. He was given the death penalty for good reason and if the death penalty hadn't been declared unconstitutional he would have died years ago along with many other brutal sicko killers. Another reason is because the media has created a cult following for the sick $#@! just like they did for Ted Bundy. Some mentally unstable women would want to kill for him again if he was out. Its sad but its true. Ted Bundy used to get sacks of mail from women like that who professed their love for him and offered him money. I'm glad he went to Florida and got caught there. Colorado dropped the ball twice and allowed him to escape causing the death of at least 2 women and a 12 year old girl, maybe more they don't know about.
