I haven't seen too many police officers who can't subdue a trespassing teacher without excessive violence. (Maybe I just know wimpy teachers). I did not want my children to grow up thinking that the first, best & only solution to a problem is violence. We see enough teens (and adults) that think guns and violence will solve everything...don't we need to teach our children to think of alternative solutions? Do we really want children that believe that 'might is right', that the winner of any argument is the one with the deadliest weapon?

I would buy popcorn to watch it.

As I recall, the father did tell him to leave. And he did not. What was he supposed to do?

And it isn't that most police officers can't subdue or de-escalate a situation, it is that they choose not to and this is encouraged by an utter lack of restraint on their part.

If in a room there exists one cop, and one person, most of the time there is only one brain present. Sometimes none.

That is the truth of it, however. That has always been the truth. The winner is always the one with the force. That's why the government is always right and you are always wrong.

Truth and right do not always equate to winning.
