    Showing that it can be easily recreated/transmitted has value. Hopefully, they work on a vaccine and if it ever comes up again there will be some hope. Lab accidents are extremely rare due to the protocols, and seriously, if someone is going to purposely release something they're probably going to go for the smallpox or Yersinia pestis.
