I think it was supposed to be so you could get all of the product out of the container. But I have noticed that even if you turn a container, such as salad dressing, upside, a lot of it still sticks to the sides and you are probably wasting a good ounce of the product.Yeah, or mustard. When I say "Thank you" to someone (store employee/waiter) for doing something for me and they reply by saying "no problem".
This causes me to think that my asking for the service or help in the first place was causing a problem for the person whose job it was to provide it.
