    I understand your point, I just disagree. I don't think it's an acceptable risk. Plus, studies have shown that it's actually cheaper to put someone away for life than to put them to death.

    That is very easy to solve.

    Revert to how it happened by 1900. With modern science to aid the defense, a fair trial ought to be a given.

    Sentence and execution can take a mere 30 days.

    That costs little.

    When we claim we executed the innocent, simply closely examine what happened and fix those problems. We can't bring dead convicts to life.
