Team Obama never misses an opportunity to tweet a picture of dear leader. In this one he is struggling to look interested in what a middle class family has to say.

If they want to make this a real world experience for their kids, have them try to live on the wages they earn as well.
Obama's use of the term "Real hard work" to describe scooping ice cream and tending cash registers ( I'll give him the waiting tables though) shows a disconnect in his understanding. And since we pay for everything those girls do, it would be an empty gesture at best. What would we do build a special MCDonalds for them to work at with SS protection everywhere? Would they be protected with those awful guns ?

My parents did the same thing. I've never not had a job since I was 15. But, I was also never paid anything close to minimum wage because I chose jobs wisely and picked my shifts wisely and got training that made my first job pay very well. If I remember right, I could make between $15/hr to $25/hr depending on what I was doing that day. My parents still housed me and paid for my cell phone (family plan) but I covered all my other costs except the obvious stuff covered by insurance. It is a good experience even if you aren't expected to live off those wages. Mainly, what the Obamas could do if they have their daughters start working is put an amount to aim for, say $4000, to go towards their education that they have to save up for with their own wages. It's really unrealistic to expect they'll pay their own way since they're likely going to a US Ivy League school.
