Bush was a conservative, although implemented some policies that could be considered liberal....or at least left. His endeavors with AIDS on the continent of Africa. His prescription drug program another example. His partnership with Ted Kennedy on an education reform attempt.

Oh and Maine. While Bush was a big spender, he was faced with some daunting tasks after he entered office. Glaring need to spend money. But he did see record tax receipts arrive in Washington as well, you and Pete struggle with this often. Government does have a responsibility to protect you. Those that want more money for defense purposes are certainly big spenders but are they.....left of center?

Glaring need to spend money on what? No child? Prescription drug? Starting that stupid war?

Bush let us all down. We had the chance of the century to really go after all that government fat. And what did we do?

Of course the most glaring need to spend here.....is on a f'n history book. You rocket scientists tell me the reality in Jan 2001 when Bush walks into office. We have two dozen or more extremists sitting in country, hate defining their existence about to unleash the mother of all terror attacks...and we are clueless to it all. Investigation and inquiry afterwards exposes glaring gaps in our security. Our transportation and ports systems wide open. Its obvious our national agencies who had vital bits of information didn't coordinate, it was clear Maine....and Pete....that we had to beef up and reorganize. Airports, airplanes, shipping industries, remember we had poisons traveling through US postal services....why would you ask about glaring needs to spend money knowing what happened to us 8 months later? And then.....we are going to have to go get who is responsible....do we not? Do me a favor boys.....ask one of your parents God willing....and see if they have what's called a history book and Maine for Christ's sake....read it.

Bush let us all down. We had the chance of the century to really go after all that government fat. And what did we do?
We cut your taxes is what we did. And link to Bush spending and receipts while you're spouting on about them Maine, I insist. The same history book might have them.

In other words, in the real world, this was just another lousy jobs report. However, it is being misinterpreted and misrepresented by Obama and his minions just like that Supreme Court decision. The minions misinterpret because they are simple minded sheeple who believe what Obama tells them to believe. You can be sure that Obama knows the reality behind those numbers.
These data have been distorted since the 1970s. It's not like Happy Talk about economic opportunities just started under Obama.
