FAA Shuts Down Flights To Tel Aviv For 24 Hours

Following a rocket launch from Gaza that landed near the airport in Tel Aviv, the FAA has suspended U.S. flights to the Israeli capital for 24 hours.

Hamas may have found the Israeli Achilles' heel. If Hamas can target around the airport they could cause a shut-down of flights in and out of Ben Gurion Airport.

Netanyahu called Kerry to change the FFA's decision; but with the downing of MH17 and questions of flying over a war zone...Bibi may take a hit at home if this actually escalates to a No Fly ban. This may force Netanyahu to talks more quickly.

Other airlines are following suit. It will be longer than 24hrs. I am not sure why civilians would want to go there anyway (other than residents getting home).
