    Same here.

Had cable at one point, I just pay for internet service nowadays.

Everyone I know who has dish tells me it sucks. My cousin who has it says she doesn't need a weather man, she knows when it's going to rain because the dish cuts out.

Dropped all pay tv years ago. Got tired of pating $100 and nothing on. Now it's broadcast only, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, UNCTV (pbs1), UNCKIDS (pbs2) UNCEX (pbs3), METV, THISTV, MY40, TheCW plus a weather channel and there's still nothing on.

How much is high speed internet alone for you?

For me, adding the TV isn't a large different- with the assumption that I am getting high speed internet regardless.

DSL alone is like under fifty bucks a month.

The campground has wireless for thirty a month but we just use our phones.

I think I pay $30 a month for my internet, such as it is.

Edit: Okay, I just checked, it's 34 bucks a month. Plus tax, of course.

Local cable runs about $60 a month for 30MPS. Wish they'd cut the mps and discount the rate, but alas no competition. Local DSL costs more for less mps. They do have a 20 bucker but hell it's 768 up and 1mps down. Sucs without cable competition.

Here's a good web site to start. Helps with antenna type, station availability, locater and distance. Antenna booster yes or no and how strong. : http://www.tvfool.com/

Around 50 for mine and it's something that starts with an E so it's not what I thought it was at the start. I get around 3 up and 9 down but if I changed out my ethernet card that woud most likely go up on both. It's never what they say and you have to run a speed test to find out for sure. Direct is around 60 but I took an upgrade for more channels. So I'm at around 110 bucks a month, about 15 more than I was paying but the channel upgrade is well worth it. At least fot the month, or two a year I'm home.
