    It doesn't look like an impact crater. Those are pretty much always wider than they are deep. These are deeper than they are wide.

    I'll be interested in learning what the cause is, once they figure it out.

    The rocks were hot. I don't know but I saw all photos and they appear to be craters. Too circular in shape to be something else.
