A funny update!

One person, using the identity 'chrisoc1986', and who says on their profile they are located in Glasgow, sold their vote for £1.04.


The listing read: "This is my very own unique piece of British History! It is my personal YES or NO vote for the upcoming Scottish Referendum in September.


"I for one, do not give a flying monkeys about any of this. This could be the deciding vote. Who knows? I am a hard working Scottish citizen with a house, a gorgeous wife and two beautiful kids who are my world.


"This vote will not change anything in our lives so I have decided not to vote my opinion but instead..... ONE OF YOURS! Happy Bidding"


Another listing by 'catfez', believed to be located in the Scottish Borders, placed a £10 reserve on bidding for the vote. The seller states that the money raised from the bid will be donated to charity.

Ethnic Scots elected the SNP to a strong majority in the Scottish Parliament, and it's the SNP - and, by extension, ethnic Scots - pushing for independence.

The SNP's popularity lies as much in their social and economic platform as their "nationalism" (for the record, they're actually liberals and moderate socialists). Most Scots don't favor the independence package.

The Yes vote is gaining.

Support for Scottish independence has risen eight points in a month, according to a new poll.



The No camp are now six points ahead of the Yes campaign, down from 14 points in mid-August and 22 points early last month, excluding undecided voters.

The yes votes are ahead now.

The YouGov research for the Sunday Times found 51% supported independence, compared to 49% who wanted to remain in the UK.


The results are the latest evidence of a dramatic surge for the Yes Scotland campaign, which has seen the gap between the sides - once regularly in double digits - vanish in a matter of months.

My intuition is thus far proving correct. I think the yes votes will have it.

I think that they will $#@! themselves when they have to make an independent state after the vote. Just my guess.
