    The curve

Basically why my baseball career ended. I couldn't hit it....This guy's knees buckled on him, that's him trying to hang in the box, I wouldn't even hang in there, I'd be skedaddling out the backside of the box....

I didn't have to hit. I sponsored the number 2 American team playing men's fast pitch softball. The team was awesome.

My team won California outright. When we got to the nationals, we were blowing teams out. It was game 3 or 4 that we ran into S&K Rigging of Illinois and we had an early lead. They crept back and won the game by a run. This put my team into the losers bracket.

We ripped up the balance of the opposition. The final day of the championship tournament, we played 5 full games.

S&K played us two times and one other game.

Anyway, we beat S&K bad when we met them. We started play at around 8 am that morning and our last game with S&K started around 10 pm that night. My guys were worn out from playing 4 full games including the win over S&K.

    Anyway, S&K became champions.

Following is the list of A fast pitch winners. We used to beat up Holiday Market who I noticed won a national championship after I quit the game.
