Yes, I do believe they are in trouble. The leaders haven't exactly been helping them much either lately.
The pendulum swings as it always does. Republicans will likely take over Congress and then the Presidency in 2016, unless they snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory again, as has been their way of late. Then the Democrats will take one or both houses of Congress in 2018. Since we live in an age of perpetual war, the Republican President elected in 2016 will most likely get a second term in 2020, and in 2024, a Democrat will be elected again to the Presidency.
Rinse and repeat.
"Those who produce should have, but we know that those who produce the most — that is, those who work hardest, and at the most difficult and most menial tasks, have the least."
- Eugene V. Debs (1855-1926), five-time Socialist Party candidate for U.S. President
This country has always made several steps backwards before eventually progressively moving forward
And the Donkephant charade continues....
“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him had better take a closer look at the American Indian.”. Henry Ford
