    The pendulum swings as it always does. Republicans will likely take over Congress and then the Presidency in 2016, unless they snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory again, as has been their way of late. Then the Democrats will take one or both houses of Congress in 2018. Since we live in an age of perpetual war, the Republican President elected in 2016 will most likely get a second term in 2020, and in 2024, a Democrat will be elected again to the Presidency.

    Rinse and repeat.
