Apple’s Response on Its Tax Practices

In response to requests for comment on the company’s tax practices, Apple provided this statement to The New York Times:

"In the first half of fiscal year 2012 our U.S. operations have generated almost $5 billion in federal and state income taxes, including income taxes withheld on employee stock gains, making us among the top payers of U.S. income tax."

"The vast majority of our global work force remains in the U.S., with more than 47,000 full-time employees in all 50 states. By focusing on innovation, we’ve created entirely new products and industries, and more than 500,000 jobs for U.S. workers "

Well.....we know they are not going to get better. It's not to difficult for Bilbo the Clown to raise money for Obama. Plus I am sure Bilbo has the Saud ready to donate to Obama at the drop of his hat.

Yep.....which now they just want to wipe away their debt. Kinda like Illinois and California wanting to file for bankruptcy. Get rid of the debt they ran up and not paying those bills.

But they are also creating a few more homeless shelters. Must be getting ready for the next wave.
