Well, I said words were exchanged. You cannot predict the actions of a mob, but if you're a marine you are likely trained in mob psychology. I'm not blaming him or excusing the mob but it might be that he said things that he shouldn't have in the circumstances. That doesn't make him guilty, but neither does it make him smart. Certainly the mob behavior was reprehensible and they need to identify the killers and prosecute. At the end of the day however, I do think, based on the scant info in the news story, it might have been avoided.
