A 20,000-square-foot castle that might be described as Disneyesque if not for its overall creepiness -- including a twisted background that involves, among other things, the death of a rescue camel -- has been listed for sale in Woodstock, Connecticut, for a king's ransom of $45 million.

Built by Christopher W. Mark, great-grandson of Chicago industrialist Clayton Mark Sr., the so-called Chrismark Castle started off as merely an oddity in what a 2013 Connecticut Magazine article called "an otherwise normal neighborhood of moderate-sized homes." Primary construction finished in 2009 at a reported cost of $4.1 million.

He apparently had a small animal refuge on the property that housed a Camel,Zebra and Emu.

I thought it was pretty neat looking too. What I really thought was amusing is that they built it right in the middle of a regular neighborhood with normal sized homes.
