I think so too.

I don't see the RCC departing in any way on their doctrine. I do see a push for a softer approach.

And I don't have a problem with any of it, the RCC shouldn't change it's doctrine. I have many other issues with the RCC on a number of other areas where they've departed materially from their own self-established principles.
