I'm pretty sure that I already know the answer to this but this is a question for the guys here, preferably the ones closer to my age (20)...

If a guy that you've been dating for about a little more than a month or so now, and seemed to be going really well, stops calling for a week going on a week and a half, and when you call him during that time he either doesn't answer right away or he answers, says hi, and then tells you that he will call you back but most of the time doesn't, that pretty much means it's over right? If so, why not just say so and give a reason?

If I'm still young enough where my advice matters......then yeah, it's probably over, and stop calling. If he somehow has a change of heart, let him chase you and do the work, and even then, I wouldn't bite at this juncture.

Sorry to break it to you.....

The only other thing I could think about that might be the cause of his actions outside of the obvious is, perhaps he's going through something difficult personally. And even then, he should tell you so.
