The poll amounts to a Rand Paul or nobody type of poll.
I voted no. If Rand is the Republican candidate for president, certainly he gets my vote. But I want to elect a person who governed a state. My choice would be for a person of a lot of actual experience.
To me, this represents the Federal Government anyway.

A slight disagreement on the poll. It simply asks if someone would vote for Rand Paul. He's a bit controversial. As such, I doubt he'd receive the nomination. Of course, I doubt Hillary will receive it for the same reasons....and to a much greater degree.
While I agree about the Federal Government, that's just one part of it. The Federal Government also does, as the Constitution requires, to provide for the national defense and negotiate relations with foreign powers. That's pretty important in my book.

The old Clintonestas of the Democratic Party are fired up for Hillary. They have begun to move away from Obama and are painting Hillary as a reformer who will charge in on her liberal horse and fix all of Obama's screw ups.
The Democrats stuck Hillary in the state department to keep her out of Obama's inner circle on purpose. It's been all calculated as part of their long term plans for eight more years of control of the executive branch and at least four more years of control of the senate. Meanwhile, Hillary has been laying low. She will appear to take the nomination at the convention reluctantly but she's been planning for the White House since the early nineties.
A Hillary run will energize all the Democratic voting districts and their blocs. They will get the vote out for her in droves.
And meanwhile, ask yourself: Who are the Dems going to run in the primaries who could beat her? Hillary got millions of votes in the primaries before Obama's first term.
