but none of us live in Iraq or Africa..do we? No one is creating a saint image, we are acknowledging traits that we admire in modern American women.

There is nothing rah-rah about the posts. Both of the females you mentioned have been singled out and attacked for the some of characteristics that make them interesting women. Saying something positive about them is more polite than saying something negative about their attackers.

And they were defended in every thread by everyone, including me. What about that chick Adelaide? Where's the Adelaide love? What about you? You take heat all the time. Alyosha's been called a **** more times on here than I've been called an $#@!, where's her thread? How about Peter?

Be nice @Animal Mother. I don't ask for any of the comments, both positive and negative, that are said to me just as dark mistress and others do not ask. I totally agree with you though that there are others that rarely get the praise that they deserve, like @Adelaide, who is awesome.

You make a good point...there are several people here that post their opinions without being mean and they also deserve recognition. I just don't like to see someone get picked on and feel compelled to speak up when I think someone has been targeted unfairly...maybe its the maternal instinct? I will try to watch that in the future!

I don't need nice things said about me, is my point. We're all $#@!s and angels alike. I appreciate the imperfections in people because that is what make us unique.

Alyosha knows she's smart. I would never tell her she's smart because it's meaningless. If I compliment her its on the fact that she can take a bullet. Not many women can get hit on a plate and not freak out. Her being smart is just a genetic anomaly just like complimenting Code on his looks or body is worthless. The coolest thing about him is the fact that he can burp Dixie.
