There are crimes that are simply wrong and there are crimes purely created by a particular group.

For instance, prior to 1913, there was no income tax evasion laws. When Prohibition ceased, it blocked laws over alcohol usage in drinks.

Tom Delay was not found indictable for a number of grand juries. They spent years shopping for the right grand jury and indeed did it as well for a court jury. That part of TX where he was convicted is run by Democrats and proves how corrupt they are. The higher courts decided in favor of Tom Delay.

Democrats may never forgive the higher court justice system.

We saw what happened to Delay, We see what happens to republicans when they say something stupid or the media is able to portray their remarks as stupid. People like Joe biden, dead ted Kennedy and dead Robert Byrd just to name A FEW, get away with wordy murder. John Edwards, others, nothing. YET, Dinesh D'Souza, private citizen gets confinement and Psychological counseling for giving a few thousand dollars to a friend's campaign. A few thousand dollars while john Edwards has REALLY milked the system. Did you get that? PSY. chological COUNSELING. That's just plain SoViet.

Can you blame these crooks for taking advantage of their positions when most of us are too stupid to even care?
The wrong done to Tom Delay by democrats is pretty easy to comprehend.

Take the case of a perfectly innocent person living next door to Breaking bad drug manufacturer. The law hunts for a grand jury to indict the innocent neighbor based on the premise he must be part of the crime because he lives next door to "breaking bad" meth maker.

To most of us, we see no connection by merely living next door.

Finally in TX, after much grand jury rejections, the prosecutor located a particular group of humans willing to indict Tom Delay. Was the evidence there?

Well no it was not. So says the court that decided in favor of Tom Delay.

I was very interested in the alleged crimes by Tom Delay and though the alleged crime was purely made up, and not a natural crime (murder is a natural crime as is theft of property) (these pin head laws on money control in campaign dollars are a fiction; to wit: we are limited in contributions by this bunch of dunderheads)

Tom Delay was never connected to a crime but due to the politics of the court that tried him, plenty of democrats eagerly tried to put the man in jail. They despised Delay and had they liked the man, they would not have tried him to begin with. It reminded me of the old Salem MA witch trials that ended up with innocents hung by local citizens.

My recollection of Tom Delays eventual conviction differs than yours. He beat a couple of grand juries on different charges, the one he was eventually convicted of were different than the other two he beat. Aside from that he had appeals and they upheld his verdict.
About his eventual release I hope you dont think that absolves his guilt. ALL INFLUENTIAL individuals and politicians get cut loose far short of their sentence Tom Delay is no different.
