Pagan has been associated with every thing from stone age living habits to belief in magic to fodder for missionaries.
The modern day pagans I know are almost deist: "Nature is God" They are into herbalism, wholistic health and living close to the land, all of which I respect and much of which I try to do in my own life . Is this an accurate representation?
I sometimes consider myself a deist but I am a spiritually confused recovering catholic and not sure. I believe in
something, I have felt it, often on the water or in the woods, but I have no real idea what it is. In fact at times my spirituality can be quite strong. I sometimes refer to it as "a God of my non-understanding." I know its NOT the old white dude in the beard smoting everyone God of my youth.
"Those who produce should have, but we know that those who produce the most — that is, those who work hardest, and at the most difficult and most menial tasks, have the least."
