Sometimes you have to let $#@! happen so that people wake up. Trying to stop a problem that has momentum only slows the inevitable which will results in a fix or reboot.
Let people $#@! up their own neighborhoods, don't rebuild and they will learn a lesson. Pointing out now before it's extreme won't do any good but make you seem racist.

It's their town, their problem. This is what happens when everyone allows the government to do everything for them. First project housing is built supposedly to "help" people but all it did was return them to segregation only in a way where they didn't feel so bad about it, then a cultural divide sprung up between poor, middle, and upper class blacks just like with white people. Now, you have permanent classes of people who feel the noose but don't know how it got around their neck because it was put on a generation before.
The whole thing has to collapse to make it better.

Are they protestors or people who are having their way with the night? I went to an anti-war protest and there were people marching with us just to cause trouble.
Regardless the kid didn't deserve it and good people should have stepped in.
