Why wouldn't it work over here?

Universal healthcare. Works just fine in Canada and Europe. Why not over here? What healthcare policies do you think would work for America? We are the richest nation on earth. There is no reason for anyone to be uninsured.

Since it is now mandated, it only makes sense to eliminate the insurance companies and all pay into one system that covers our healthcare.

I support the notion of universal healthcare simply on the basis that it would eliminate the obscene profits the insurance companies are gleaning off the top. Hospitals don't need to be more lavish than the Taj Mahal either. People don't realize the immense fortune that is being extorted from them and being soaked up by the "ancillary" parasites that circle the healthcare industry.

Where in the Constitution is the government granted the power to nationalize the health care industry?

Maybe we should start asking that question more, because the Constitution has been ignored for far too long.

Just because it wasn't included in the constitution does not mean it is a crime to change a system that has turned out to be a dismal failure for everyone except the ones that are multi-billionaires by taking unfair advantage of it.

The American health care system, before Obamacare, was the world's best at delivering the best health care to the largest number of people.

The system needed reform, it didn't need to be destroyed by sledgehammer wielding extremists.

By the way, thanks to Obamacare, I have now lost my dental insurance.

Thanks Obama, and everyone who voted for him!!!

It had already started to topple before Obama lobbed his grenade. Insurance is what brought this on. It created a perfect vehicle for run away costs. The actual hands on people working in healthcare do not make the money either. It is the facilitators that are raking in the lions share. Their contribution is none existent.

If the federal government wants to take over health care, all they need to do is Amend Art 1, sec. 8, US Constitution to add another enumerated power.
