Can you recommend some cool places to surf if I ever make if over there? And some good restaurants?

I just hate American conservatives, religious nutters (of which you have more than your fair share), virtually everything Hollywood churns out, dumb neocon policies, the American propensity to attack with "shock and awe" anyone they feel aggrieved by, your interference in the domestic affairs of other countries (including my own), and MacDonalds.

Yeah, Piha in the Bay of Islands*.

They have great surf life savers there. Which I imagine would be useful.

Restaurants and accommodation also great, if you survive the surf..


* Not to be confused with the Bay of Pigs......where the surfing is, as you know, not that great.
