There are plenty of reasons to believe. You have the cosmological argument, the moral argument, etc. They need not be convincing to you in order to be rational.
Sure, there are reasons, but are they rational? Getting your morals from a religious book doesn't take rationality--it may be convincing, but it's not rational.

Look, I'm agnostic, or even more accurately ignostic. It is irrational for me to have this belief, but I ACCEPT that it is irrational. You seem to have a hard time accepting that about your belief, which is understandable, most people don't want to think of themselves as irrational.
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.

There should be evidence for fairies.
There's no evidence for god, why should there be any evidence of other magical things?
They are physical beings. What don't you understand?
No, they're magical beings, like God.
You believe in equality otherwise you would not pursue it as a goal.
We already had this conversation. People strive for things all the time that they know they'll never achieve. As long as you're not disappointed if you don't meet your goal, there's nothing wrong with having a goal set higher than what can be achieved.

Kizz, the moral argument has nothing to do with the bible. Anyway, I think believing that this grand universe and human existence have meaning is a very reasonable position.

Why do you think your belief is irrational?
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

God isn't a magical being. You should brush up on your theology if you insist on talking about it. Fairies fly around the garden. Where are they? Ca you point them out to me? It's a poor analogy o several levels but we can stop here.

People don't strive for what they know they cannot achieve. Well, sane people anyway.

I have now many "hidden messages" from Mister D - that well-known anti-modernist.

Is he trying to tell me something?

I see Grasshopper has suffered the fate that befalls all insects.
Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence

God is a multidimensional magical being who can create things out of nothing. It takes faith in irrational things to believe in such a thing.
People don't strive for what they know they cannot achieve. Well, sane people anyway.
People set goals higher than they can achieve all the time, and people KNOW they can't achieve those goals but they still try anyway. It's insanity when people know they can't achieve the goals but get all pissed off or horribly disappointed when they can't reach those goals.

God isn't a magical being. You should brush up on your theology if you insist on talking about it. Just some advice.

I think he wants your opinion on whether his uniform is dashing, or just fanciful and representative of delusions of grandeur.

Has it occurred to you that you have set yourself an impossible goal?

Or are you just having fun?
