Does it? That's news to me. Why must one believe as you say?

now you're just babbling, Kizz. Judging by your inability to defend your claim we may suppose that my faith is irrational because you said so. I'm sure you understand why I reject such reasoning.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

It's not just a belief, I know there is life after death. You have a right not to believe.

Tell me about all the other planets that God keeps track of. Tell me about all the other creations that God views as being in the image of him. The Bible puts humans at the center of everything, and I think that's outright silly. It takes faith in the irrational to believe in that crap.

It wouldn't be up to me to prove that someone's belief in garden fairies is false or irrational, it would be up to the people believing in the garden fairies to prove that it's rational.

So tell me, why is your belief in god rational?
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.

I would have thought that restricting opportunity for those who toe the conservative line was exactly that.

Aren't your women having a grand debate about how restrictive contraceptive/family planning policies represent an attack on the economic position of women?

    It is "self-evident", isn't it?

It's just a perversion that the smartest people - in education, science - believe it is not.

You are not correct. You can put believe in caps all you want but I know.

The point is not that there is life after death. The point is that desperate people think there is.

And there is some logic to that. They will never have to know that they are wrong. Win-win.

Yeah, but putting people in a bad economic position isn't redistributing wealth. Maybe I'm arguing semantic here a little, but it bothers me.

How do you KNOW? Did you die and come back to life? Did you see what people see when they take a lot of mushrooms?

That's like saying you KNOW God exists.
