From where did the spaghetti and meatballs come? They can't be timeless. After all, it's spaghetti ad meatballs. Why can't I see this monster? I must be able to. It has a physical form. It consists of wheat, beef and hopefully pork. I'm not seeing the analogy to theism. Can you help?
It's the fact that you're expecting me to consider your belief in the supernatural to be rational. You want me to believe that a belief in God is rational. And I'm saying that it's just as rational as believing in anything else that's supernatural--basically, it's NOT rational, and if you want me to believe it is, you're going to have to offer some sort of proof. And no, a religious book is not proof.
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.

There is no evidence for fairies and there is no evidence for God(tm).

I don't believe in "equality" as a tangible thing, I believe it's something to strive for. But I've said that many times already.

I still don't see the connection to theism. This silly construct was supposed to be analogous to theism but clearly it's not. Your lack of knowledge regarding theism and the Christian conception of God is no surprise. Sad but unsurprising.

I don't want anything from you, Kizz.

but there should be evidence for fairies. That's precisely where your analogy fails.

You believe in equality, Kizz. That's clear. It's also clear that you require no evidence that human beings are equal. You're going on faith.

I was raised Christian. I know what the faith is about. I left my faith in my early 20s, I started to leave it when I was 17.

The connection to theism is the belief in a supernatural being--goddess, god, alah, flying spaghetti monster, whatever--a belief in a supernatural being takes pure faith in something irrational. There is NO reason to believe we have a creator, or that someone is watching everything that we do.
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.

I believe equality is a goal--a goal that can never totally be reached. I've said it over and over again. I don't appreciate you telling me I believe something that I've been clear that I don't believe.

That's what they all say while demonstrating a Sunday school conception of Christian theology.

Again, the Spaghetti Monster is a rather inept analogy which is why it's popular on the Internet, I suppose.

There are plenty of reasons to believe. You have the cosmological argument, the moral argument, etc. They need not be convincing to you in order to be rational.

    u mad bro?

There should be evidence for fairies. They are physical beings. What don't you understand?

You believe in equality otherwise you would not pursue it as a goal.
