    Nothing says I love you!

Nothing says I love you like cheap crap made in China, by slave labor by a company owned by american billionaires benefitting from corporate welfare and subsidies, paying slave wages to employees kept from enjoying thanksgiving with their families.

Can I get an ouuuuraaaahhhHHHHH for unbridled capitalistic corporate greed!!!!!

    Happy Thanksgiving

You forgot to mention the slave labor is from a communist country in the world's most populous nation.

In short, Americans have won over the commie hordes. God Bless America!

Yea, we can't even make the weapons systems that we would need in a war with China. We won.

We can make it, we, as society, just don't want to make it. Too busy whacking our military and downsizing it into a QRF.

We <americans> can make ANYTHING and we have made everything at one time. The issue is that our corporate mentality is profit at all costs and another penny earned is another penny bonus, no matter how you get that penny especially if it strips workers of even more its all good.

Then don't work for a corporation! Aren't there some poor men you can work for?

We are caught up on a web of our own design. Capitalism has made our nation one of the richest in history but to keep it going, we've become a highly consumerist and materialistic society.

The t-shirt "He who dies with the most toys wins" sums up our nation's character very succinctly. Money is our morality. We can finger-point at "the corporations" or "the government" but the reality is that the problem is us, We, the People. It's within our power to stop it and/or change it, but we don't care enough to do so.

If China declared war on the US on day X, what day would we have manufacturing capacity to build our major combat platforms?
