Everyone should have a say. The way someones intelligence, qualifications, etc, would determined is totally arbitrary and a matter of opinion, in most cases. Would be easy to abuse.

Not to mention, if someone doesn't have a say in their government, they shouldn't have to follow the laws and regulations either, as it is illegitimate.

We have people who don't have to pay taxes and they're still voting and have a say over those that do. Not to like belittle po folks cuz I was a Mississippi po folk when Dad when bat$#@! crazy and was committed--thank you Vietnam! But I'm just sayin' we have a lot of dumb $#@! people voting without understanding the issues or who they're voting for. They pick D or R and that's the end of it.

I blame them for our wars and $#@!ed up economics because their dumbassery lets these $#@!tards into power that $#@!s the bed for the world.

That is basically true all over the world. Some people are simply not sufficiently interested in politics to pay attention much before the election. Most people are more concerned with their own lives and their families to bother to read or listen to politics extensively and that has nothing to do with basic intelligence, but interest.
