You guys do realize it's possible to have some ambivalence here, right? You don't have to go with your teams side and can think in complexities, like...oh, maybe both George and Trayvon were males lacking direction and with chips on their shoulders or that Brown was a thug and the cop rushed to shoot him.

Because guess what? Your own lives are complex. Deciding what to make for dinner isn't black or white much less life or death decisions we all make in an instant.

Don't drive yourself off into caricature land, see people for their complexities.
Attacking someone armed, especially a police officer seems to be incredibly stupid. Have you ever had someone seriously try their absolute best to end your life? I have. I drove an Armored Truck delivering money for a living for 20+ years and yes I have had someone who thought the money I was carrying was worth killing me for. At that point the "complexities" of their life of Mom abusing them or Dad being gone really doesn't matter.
We must have the clarity of vision to see the difference between what is essential and what is merely desirable, and then the courage to bring our government back under control and make it acceptable to the people. - Ronald Reagan, 1980 Nomination Acceptance Speech

It looks like this might be the new frontier for private contractors.

This would be a great way of putting the thugs and racist agitators in place. They would just need to be sworn in as deputies. And we all ready know how to send the media packing. A few nights with Cigars bad boys vs trained private contractors, a garbage truck and a good backhoe, and we could clean up some of the scum that is infesting places like Ferguson, then the people that understand how to protest peacefully and not tear the city down can live in safety.

She actually has. Got shot this summer and everything. She's pretty tough for a chick.

Her point flew right by you, Peebody. The complexities ain't mommy and daddy not treating you right but the choices you make in a dynamic situation. Not everyone is cut out for it, based on his testimony and how he handled it I think he should have a desk job. Not everyone is cut out to be a cop or marine and just because you want to be one doesn't mean you should. We need higher standards for these jobs.

Before you ask, combat vet, multiple deployments, special forces and I would kick out 1/3 of our soldiers and 1/4 of all our marines right now because they're worthless and get people injured or exhausted.

Its not a job for everyone.

Judging by your post, I doubt you would know what anything was like but the deep fry basket at McDonalds. Sorry.
