That template was not Romney's but rather the far left socialist Mass legislature's plan.
And ObamaCare was really the minimum that Der fuhrer was willing to settle for.
He and most of his wacko lib supporters really wanted full blown socialized medicine, aka single payer.
and still plan to have it someday.
Additionally my friend, the system ensures that rural (conservative) votes in rural states are disproportionately weighted to more densely populated states (some of that is built into the Constitution, but it's becoming ridiculous see below)
Issue by issue, or combined issues.. no matter. Progressives win on the most important issues: Health care, immigration reform, Medicare, Social Security, minimum wage, wealth inequality, etc etc etc.
