It's in the 30's where I'm at and rainy-ish. Cold rain is the worst. Animal sent me out to wait for something so I'm just sitting here as usual freezing and hungry.

I'm 6 ft 2. I need to eat.

I am almost finished with home made chicken soup. Crock pot. I guess it will be ready in 10 minutes.

I actually had an easier time overseas at Christmas even though it was all dry and Muslim-y because I wasn't even close to home. The first time I was stationed in the US and saw snowfall at Christmas (not a lot because well it's Virginia, it comes down then melts) was at Quantico and I thought it was like something out of a movie. I got so excited I walked out in it and sat on a bench.

Still nothing like the outdoor parties at Christmas and New Years back home. Southern Christmas is the best Christmas.

watching it ain't a problem...its smelling it that drives me nuts! When I cook something like that (that I can smell) my stomach is growling so loud it's embarassing!

It's just hard to go home because then I want to move home and I can't...unfortunately. I can't leave the guys and the girl. I wish they all wanted to live down there. It would make it easier.

I do like the trees in VA, though. Lots of real pretty trees and the hills are nice.
